Coach Development

While many coaches come from a playing background, coaching requires its own skills and knowledge. Busselton Netball Association recognises the importance of quality coaching across all levels, from grassroots through to development programs, and encourages all coaches to continue to upskill and maintain their accreditation.

All coaches are required to complete the Foundation Coach Accreditation by Week 3 of the competition. This online course covers introductory coaching principles and basic netball techniques and is available via the netball learning centre https://learning.netball.com.au/login

Coaches who have completed their Foundation Accreditation are encouraged to progress to the Development Coach Accreditation. Netball WA delivers these courses within the South West and in Perth, with upcoming courses available on the Netball WA website https://wa.netball.com.au/coach
